M.O.M (Making Opportunities Matter) Program

Perinatal Support Program

The M.O.M Program is the cornerstone of Pregnant with Possibilities Resource Center’s perinatal support efforts. Empowering pregnant and postpartum individuals to thrive through group-based education, one-on-one support, and community connection.

This 13-session hybrid program provides weekly sessions led by trauma-informed facilitators in a culturally affirming environment, covering essential topics such as healthy pregnancy, labor and delivery preparation, stress management, financial planning, breastfeeding, nurturing self and baby, and building healthy relationships.

Holistic wellness is central to M.O.M, with prenatal and postpartum yoga integrated throughout the program. Each participant is also paired with a Certified Community Health Worker (CHW) who provides individualized guidance, resource linkage, and life planning support.

Through M.O.M, families gain the tools, confidence, and community they need to create healthy beginnings and sustainable success for themselves and their children.
